POINTS TO NOTE
AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and added to the account each year. *Interest is payable gross subject to receipt of certification as required by HM Revenue and Customs, or net of income tax at the appropriate rate required by legislation. Non tax payers and lower rate tax payers may be able to reclaim this tax in full or part from HM Revenue and Customs. Net rates are illustrative only and assume tax is accounted for at a rate of 20%. Where balances fall below the minimum for this account type, the Paid Up Share rate will apply (currently 0.25%)
